From Brink Of Depression, Heavyweight Champ Demonstrates Power Of Positive Thinking And Self-Belief

One of the most successful heavyweight champions of all time, Tyson Fury, wants to spread the word about mental health, with a “blueprint” of how to deal with depression.

He was undefeated (27–0), but even the fame, money, and glory that came easily in the ring couldn’t keep him from spiraling into a near-suicidal depression—a fight that seemed unwinnable.

After he won the fight that delivered the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight titles all at once, he turned to drugs and alcohol and became a high-level suicide risk—but he discerns today that it was a perfect test of his character.

Fury tried a few small-goal-oriented strategies, which, combined with his faith, took him step-by-step back from the brink and demonstrated the immeasurable power of positive thinking and self-belief.
You can only change your life if you want to change it... A wise man once said you’ve got to know yourself before you can know anybody else. Study yourself, try and understand yourself, think what makes you happy and do that, and what makes you sad don’t do that!
